Thank You, Kessler Foundation!

We are excited to announce Shore House received a $10,000 COVID-19 Emergency Grant from the Kessler Foundation. The grant will be used to purchase 10 Fitbits and 7 Chromebooks. The Fitbits will allow our members to maintain their physical fitness while they are at home. We will create fitness challenges that will be a fun way to stay in shape and stay connected.

The Chromebooks will give access to technology to our members who currently do not have a computer. This will allow participation in our daily Zoom meetings, Lunch and Learns, Facebook and Slack all while breaking the cycle of isolation that our members are experiencing during the shelter in place order.

In addition to the Kessler Foundation, we would like to thank Tom Bull, owner of Two River Computers who is helping us secure the Chromebooks and William Rodriguez, Sales Consultant for Sprint who is helping us to secure internet access, a very important missing piece.
